TICH is a non-governmental organization registered in Kenya whose focus is on four main pillars of Mentorship and Mental Health, Entrepreneurship and Employability Skills, Gender and Resilience, and Online Safety Programs.
TICH aligns to SDG 4 of ensuring Quality Education by working to achieve the Outcomes of increased school attendance and transition among 1000 students in 4 schools of Nairobi slums-Kawangware and Kibera, and 6 schools of Kisumu Nyando and Nyakach Sub-Counties.
TICH in addition aligns to SDG 8 of Decent Work and Economic Growth by increasing employability and entrepreneurship skills among 100 marginalized job seeking youth of Nairobi slums of Kawangware and Kibera, Kisumu-Nyando and Nyakach Sub-counties through trainings on Employability Skills.
Further more, TICH aligns to SDG 5 of Gender Equality by increasing gender inclusion in leadership. Right from inception in 2018, TICH targeted 20 youth groups in Nairobi slums of Kawangware and Kibera and Kisumu Nyando and Nyakach Sub-Counties.
Finally, TICH aligns to SDG 16 of Peace and Justice Strong Institutions by increasing online safety and strengthening institutional systems in support. Since 2018 TICH has purposed to build safer online presence for 1000 students in 10 schools of Nairobi slums-Kawangware and Kibera and Kisumu, Nyando and Nyakach Sub-Counties.
